Health and Hygiene Policy

At Asian International Residential School (CBSE), the health, safety, and well-being of our students is of utmost importance. We believe that a healthy body supports a healthy mind, and maintaining hygiene is crucial for a productive and safe school environment. The following guidelines must be strictly followed by all students and parents.

General Health & Hygiene Rules

  • Students must take a daily bath and maintain personal cleanliness at all times.
  • Boys must maintain a regular haircut (minimum once a month).
  • Girls must tie their hair into two plaits. Loose hair or ponytails are not permitted.
  • Nails must be trimmed weekly. Long or painted nails are strictly not allowed.
  • All students must wear clean, ironed uniforms and polished black shoes.
  • Use of perfumes, deodorants, tattoos, or body art is strictly prohibited.
  • Students are not allowed to wear gold ornaments or fashion accessories in school.
  • Sharing of water bottles, tiffin boxes, or personal belongings is discouraged to prevent infections.

Contagious Diseases – Mandatory Quarantine Periods

If a student is diagnosed with any contagious disease, they must stay home until they are medically fit to rejoin school. A doctor’s certificate is mandatory for re-entry.

Chickenpox Until all scabs have disappeared
Measles Two weeks after rashes disappear
Mumps Until swelling has completely subsided
Cholera Until complete recovery
Whooping Cough Minimum six weeks
Viral Fever 3 to 5 days or until fully recovered

Hygiene Measures Taken by the School

  • Availability of RO-purified drinking water throughout the campus.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Awareness programs on personal hygiene, nutrition, and physical wellness.
  • Immediate first-aid facilities and arrangements for contacting parents in emergencies.
