Discipline Policy

Discipline is the foundation of success, character, and responsibility. At Asian International Residential School (CBSE), we uphold a culture of respect, self-control, and integrity, both inside and outside the classroom. Every student is expected to adhere to the school’s code of conduct, which has been thoughtfully framed to create a peaceful and productive environment for learning.

Prohibited Behaviors

The following actions are strictly forbidden and will invite disciplinary action:

  • Scribbling or writing on school walls, desks, or damaging any school property.
  • Spitting in or near the school premises.
  • Using chewing gum inside the school.
  • Speaking in mother tongue (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, etc.) during school hours. English is to be spoken on campus.
  • Disfiguring books, uniforms, or personal belongings.
  • Bringing or using electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches, or music players.
  • Wearing gold ornaments, fancy accessories, or tattoos.
  • Engaging in physical fights, bullying, or use of foul language.
  • Disobedience, disrespect to teachers, or any form of misconduct with peers.

Expected Student Conduct

  • Be punctual, polite, and attentive in class and school assemblies.
  • Show respect to teachers, staff, classmates, and school property.
  • Speak only in English within the campus to build language proficiency.
  • Maintain neatness in appearance and uniform at all times.
  • Complete assignments, homework, and projects on time.
  • Avoid any form of disruptive behavior in class or during school events.
  • Follow traffic, transport, and bus conduct rules strictly.

Disciplinary Actions May Include

  • Verbal warning or written notice
  • Parent-teacher meeting
  • Suspension from class or activities
  • Withdrawal of transport or co-curricular privileges
  • In extreme cases, termination of admission
